Device Magic Introduces Customizable Microsoft Excel Report Formats
Access to Excel functions expands the platform’s data calculation, organization and charting capabilities to deliver an enhanced user experience.
Raleigh, N.C. – March 22, 2021 – Device Magic, an industry-leading mobile data collection platform, announced today the introduction of Microsoft Excel files as a data submission format option for a variety of destination types. Device Magic users will now have the option to create and upload customized Excel report templates when selected as the submission format for available destinations.
The new feature expands report customization capabilities by allowing users to leverage Excel functions to manipulate submitted form data. Key functionalities include enhanced calculations and data organization, such as the incorporation of charts and pivot tables.

Similar to Microsoft Word documents, users can design how the Excel (.XLSX) report will look by downloading a sample form or creating a customized template using available form placeholders. Stylistic design elements such as font size, text color and company branding can also be incorporated.
Excel formats are now available for Device Magic’s Enterprise Plan level, and supported by email, Box, Dropbox, Google Drive, Microsoft OneDrive, Amazon S3, HTTP(S), ShareFile, SFTP, Slack and Evernote destination types.
